The International Labor Organization (ILO) has reversed the appointment of US official Sheng Li as deputy director of the UN company. Ilo boss Gilbert Houngbo stated his appointment had been revoked as a consequence of “persistent delays in settling the arrears”.
Li is a senior official on the U.S. Division of Labor. His appointment was introduced in April. As of June 1st they’d USA The Geneva-based group has gathered arrears amounting to 173 million Swiss francs (the equal of round 150 million euros) for the previous two years and nearly 84 million francs (the equal of round 72 million euros) for the present 12 months.
