A person has died after an accident with a quad bike within the Ludwigslust-Parchim district. The 62-year-old driver drove off District Highway 51 on Saturday night for an unknown purpose, the police stated. He was critically injured.

In accordance with an announcement, the person was taken to a hospital in Schwerin by rescue helicopter. He later died there from his severe accidents.

The precise reason for the accident will now be decided with the assistance of the prison police.
